Bringing on some Avedon inspired vibes with this image of Saniya Allen during Ashley Hylbert’s workshop earlier this year. Richard Avedon has always been an inspiration to me but I don’t often try to emulate his look. During Ashley’s workshop she had an outdoor spot set up in one his staple lighting styles. Of course lighting isn’t everything without a model who can project the right attitude and feel and she certainly brought both to this shot.
