Polaroids and Pavement
Reaching way back into the archives for this shot. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

My friend and I were shooting with Rhea (the model here) down at Riverfront Park around 1990. He was shooting his Hasselblad and I was shooting with one of my Olympus OM-2n’s. While he was testing shooting with some Polaroids I saw this scene at Rhea’s feet and thought it was worth a few frames. After I developed the film I was shooting (Ilford FP4 for those interested) I found this image and just fell in love with it. I’ve always thought of it as a “photographer’s photograph”.⠀⠀

A Teaching Moment
Celebrity, lifestyle, and travel photographer Jeff Lipsky leading an editorial portrait workshop at the Santa Fe Workshops. Spending a week working with Jeff and my fellow workshop participants was one of the best photographic education experiences I’ve had. Jeff was a total pro and his willingness to share his knowledge and experience made for a fantastic week of photography. Thanks so much, Jeff.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
