Retro Time
Ruta and Daniel working their magic in front of my camera during last weekend’s workshop with @ashleyhylbert at White Ave Studios. This capture was made in front of the studio with the old pickup the studio has on hand. The faded blue of the truck created a great start for “split toning” this image creating an overall cross-processed, “not quite real” color palette. A bit of added vignette helps keep the focus on Ruta and Daniel’s faces which are totally matching the overall mood here.

Pensive
Daniel may look rather pensive here but he is one of the most easy going and fun models I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Not to mention he makes my job super easy.. I mean, look at the guy!
“Stand there! Look Cool!”
Yeah, I didn’t actually have to say that, he just does it 🙂 Seriously though it was great getting to work with such a pro during Ashely Hylbert’s workshop over the weekend at White Ave Studio.

So Happy Together
I just can’t get enough of the shots of Caroline and Daniel we captured in Franklin last year so here’s another one. This was taken right in the square in downtown Franklin with later afternoon sun and a small video light as a fill (thank you Carmen).
