Ruta is simply stunning in this shot from our recent shoot at White Avenue Studios during Ashley Hylbert‘s workshop. This has to be one of my favorites from the day and also one of the easiest to capture. This shot has no edits except for some minor white balance adjustment. Everything else is what came out of the camera which is always my goal, though rarely achieved to this degree!. The 85mm 1.8 is shot wide open here leaving only a narrow band of “focus” in this image that pulls you right to her right eye.
