You can’t plan a shot like this, actually I suppose you could, but we definitely didn’t plan this one. The wind was working against us here but despite the fact I dismissed this shot on my first round of sorting images, I kept coming back to it. There’s something about how the chaos of Kate’s windblown hair in her face can’t distract from that lovely blue eye. Even though this taken during our planned shoot I still think of this as a “real moment”.
