Not “Lit”, Lit

Returning to my recent shoot with Alison Baughman with another favorite from our natural light photo walk. This image was captured near the Schermerhorn Center where we made use of the ambient/natural light in this spot. The point of this shoot was to look for spots where the light bouncing/reflecting off of surfaces would provide the main light for our shots. The light here is bouncing from the ground and a nearby wall to create a “lit” look on Alison’s face with beautiful, bright eyes that might normally be in shadow when shooting outside in midday sun.
