A simple, but compelling portrait of Gaudry at Saddleback Ranch in Galisteo, NM. This image, captured during the Santa Fe Workshops earlier this year with Jeff Lipsky is a combination of a stark looking space, a 1,000 yard stare, and the shallow depth of field of the 85mm 1.8 wide open. The lighting has a “lit” look to it thanks to stormy skies nearby with the sun peaking out from underneath the clouds low on the horizon. Great location, model, and overall week at the Santa Fe Workshops!
