Headshot of the Week! 5-11-2020

⠀
⠀
Headshot of the Week! for this first week of May is Kevin Mumphrey from Tribe Talent. Kevin was one of the models who joined us at the MidSouth Photo Expo last year. Kevin has a great energy and he just owns that space in front of the camera. Hope to you work with you again soon, Kevin!

Karina closes out Headshot of the Week! for April 2020 with this headshot we did back in 2018. This was part of a series of headshots I did for the local IIBA chapter where I shot 48 headshots over a 4 hour period. Looking forward to shooting with group again later this year!

Mia Carollo is this week’s Headshot of the Week! and it certainly was an easy decision to make. Mia was one of several models from Tribe Talent who participated in the Midsouth Photo Expo last year. Since they had volunteered their time for that weekend I offered them the chance to come to the studio for headshot sessions as a thank you. This capture of Mia not only has some great energy but her eyes just leap right out of the screen! Great working with you, Mia.

Erin S. is this week’s Headshot of the Week! for this second week of April. This image is from the last group session I did before the majority of us started working from home at the HCA Healthcare offices.
For Erin I turned off the background light off since those beautiful curls can get “lost” against a bright white backdrop. This is actually the second time I’ve shot with Erin and she has brought that amazing smile with her each time. Looking forward to seeing it in person again once we all can go back to our offices 🙂

Monica is kicking off our first Headshot of the Week! for April, 2020. Shot back in Summer of 2019, this image was shot as part of a group session where, as often happens, I only had a few minutes to get the shot but I didn’t need to worry. This was number “9”and by this point there were several keepers already but this, for me, was “the shot”. I will happily take my part of the credit but I couldn’t have gotten this look without Monica doing her part. #teamworkmakesthedreamwork

Headshot of the Week! for this last week of March, 2020 is Danielle Tinsley and it was an easy decision for sure! We only had a couple of minutes together, as this was part of a group session, but she stepped up and just crushed it. Great job here, Danielle!

Headshot of the Week! today comes from a 2019 session at HCA Healthcare and one of my colleagues, Betty. I was excited to see her name on the sign up sheet for this session as I knew Betty had an amazing smile and she was going to just knock this one out of the park. I’m comfortable saying I was right. Great job here, Betty!
