Pause…
Sherniqua is full of energy in front of the camera and she spent a lot of our time together dancing and moving in the studio. This one of of the brief moments she took a pause. Lovely in motion and at rest :)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

During my recent visit to the Santa Fe Workshops to attend Jeff Lipsky‘s Editorial Portrait workshop I had the great pleasure of working with Bradley Fuller. Bradley was one of our models for a day and he is also a dancer and actor. Here he is just taking a quick break about 14″ off the floor. 🙂
Nothing looks more natural than an unplanned shot, right? This shot of Jack was taken as we were all packing up to leave the Eaves Movie Ranch. The truck, the stare, and Jack’s unique “goth cowboy” vibe make a quick grab into something more than the sum of its parts. Thanks for all the killer looks, Jack!
Even with a full day of shooting left here at the workshop, I know that this is best image I’m going to take this week. Our model, Lauren, was just lighting up every time her girlfriend, Marissa was walking by (Marissa was part of the staff at the workshop). After see that happen I asked to shoot them together right at the end of the shoot. So much love for and in this photo.
