I recently had the chance to revisit one of my favorite image styles, the classic Hollywood style portrait, with Tribe Talent‘s Alison Baughman. When I reached out to Alison about doing a shoot I didn’t have a specific style in mind yet but, once we started talking, she mentioned photos of Audrey Hepburn and I knew it was time to put on the “vintage photographer” hat. Alison totally owns the space in front of the camera with this hypnotic gaze and she delivers an overall sense of elegance and beauty that even gives Audrey a run for her money 🙂
The last hour of my recent Studio Lighting Workshop turned into a bit of a free-for-all as the models and photographers made their way to the outdoor spaces at OnTrack Studios. Not being one to sit idly by, I grabbed my camera and joined in. This is one of my favorite shots with Emma who was one of our volunteer models for the afternoon (Thanks to Tribe Talent!). Emma did a great job and I was very glad that I got the chance to grab a few images of her since I usually don’t get time to shoot during this workshop.
